CROWDFUNDING NEWS – This week I’m bringing you information about four different crowdfunding campaigns that are currently running on Kickstarter. This week’s campaigns have a magnetic theme. They are for people who like weirdly shaped magnets, modular EDC gear, and more. Check them out!

MagPac is a collection of interchangeable magnetic organization modules that can help you create the ultimate EDC system.

I like MagPac because it allows you to easily keep all your gear organized when you travel or go to the office. The series of magnetic organizer panels let you customize the bag to only carry what you need when you need it.

You can use the laptop sleeve to carry your laptop with one or more of the magnetic organizer panels that can hold your cables, chargers, pens, etc. Then when you don’t need your laptop, you can switch to one of the smaller zippered bags and take a different set of magnetic panels with other EDC items like credit cards, cash, pens, and more.

The MagPac campaign ends on 5/6/22 and they have more than met their funding goal of $5,000. You can pre-order a MagPac starting at $49. After the MagPac campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in July 2022. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.

A Scutz (pronounced like scoots) is a precision-engineered scutoid, which is a new 3-dimensional geometrical shape with a hexagon on one face and a pentagon on the other that was just discovered by scientists in 2018. This shape is found in nature and we’re even made out of them.

Scutz are interesting CNC machined desk/fidget toys because they have magnets embedded in them and all geeks love magnets. It’s the law. Your friends will think you’re smart when you tell them that…

It turns out, Scutoids are everywhere. Scientists discovered a new shape while studying nature’s way of molding tissue. The scutoid is necessary for building epithelial cells into skin, organs, and blood vessels. When embryos are developing in the womb, tissues have to bend into complex 3-D shapes that eventually become organs.

The Scutz campaign ends on 4/30/22 and they are working towards their funding goal of $10,436. You can pre-order a single Scutz starting at $59. After the Scutz campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in June 2022. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.

The SYNCWIRE Magta is a modular charging station that has been designed to help to organize and fast-charge all your devices at the same time.

I like the SYNCWIRE Magta because it comes with four magnetic wireless charging modules that can be stacked, switched and detached. You can use it to charge an iPhone with MagSafe, Airpods, an Apple Watch, and more. You can even detach a power bank that attaches to the back of your iPhone to charge on the go. It’s like the LEGO of device chargers.

The SYNCWIRE Magta campaign ends on 5/28/22 and they have already met their funding goal of $10,000. You can pre-order a SYNCWIRE Magta starting at $69. After the SYNCWIRE Magta campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in June 2022. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.

CURA is a circular ring-shaped multi-spectrum LED light that has been specially designed to grow plants.

I like CURA because it can give anyone a green thumb for growing herbs, veggies, fruits, flowers, and houseplants indoors by giving the plants the exact wavelength of light that promotes healthy growth.

The CURA campaign ends on 5/19/22 and they have already surpassed their funding goal of $25,000. You can pre-order a CURA starting at $59. After the CURA campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in December 2022. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.
