Pedro Pascal snaps a photo of a Moon Knight poster and shares it to show support for the release of his friend Oscar Isaac's new MCU Disney+ series.

Pedro Pascal shares a photo of his friend Oscar Isaac's Moon Knight poster. Isaac made his debut in the premiere of the newest Marvel series on March 30, and with just episode 1 out, viewers are already raving about his performance. He portrays Steven Grant and Marc Spector, who share a body due to their dissociative identity disorder, under the command of the Egyptian moon god, Khonshu. The deity uses their body as his avatar, through which they are granted the power to become the vigilante Moon Knight.

Promotional interviews for Moon Knight have given Isaac the opportunity to speak more about his long-time best friend, Pascal. The beloved pair, both of whom have a significant place in the Star Wars galaxy with Pascal as The Mandalorian's Din Djarin and Isaac as the Star Wars sequel trilogy's Poe Dameron, are often seen in photos together and use interviews to mess with each other. Isaac has gotten to answer quite a few questions about Pascal during his Moon Knight press, including one where he claimed his Moon Knight would beat Pascal's Mando in a fight with no hesitation. Despite being close friends and very talented actors, the two have only starred in one project together: Netflix's heist-thriller Triple Frontier.

Now, Pascal takes his opportunity to speak about his friend with a photo he shared to his Instagram story. The actor stood in front of a Moon Knight poster with Isaac's face on it and snapped a picture, where a reflection from the glass offered a slight view of the pride on Isaac's friend's face. Pascal doesn't add any text, as the picture itself speaks volumes on its own. It's a sweet tribute to his friend who's joining a popular franchise, Isaac's first since the conclusion of the Star Wars sequel trilogy. See the full photo below:

While Pascal and Isaac both contributed to the Star Wars galaxy, Pascal has yet to join the MCU; his talents have only been more in demand since his debut as Din in The Mandalorian, which has led him to coveted roles such as Joel Miller in HBO's The Last of Us. With Isaac jokingly taking the credit for Pascal's decision to portray the Mandalorian in a 2019 interview, there's no doubt that he would also claim responsibility for any future appearance of Pascal in Marvel. Their back-and-forth banter is of course always in good fun, but it's still endearing to see how Pascal made time to appreciate his friend's latest project in the midst of a demanding filming schedule for The Last of Us.

Isaac's Moon Knight debut has so far resonated well with viewers, especially in the more comedic moments of Steven's life. As the audience gets to see more of Steven and Marc as Moon Knight, viewers will be able to judge whether Isaac's confident words about him beating Mando in a fight truly are as factual as he believes them to be. No matter the answer to that what-if, however, it's now clear that Pascal is already enjoying Moon Knight just as much as the audience.
