Infinix is set to refresh its Note series soon in India. The company’s currently available Note 12 series is set to get a new member in the form of the Note 12 5G. Infinix has two smartphones in the Note 12 series. However, neither of the two devices comes with 5G network support. As India prepares itself for the 5G spectrum auction later this year, Infinix has confirmed to launch the Note 12 5G in the country.
Ahead of the official launch, the company has also revealed some key features of the upcoming Note 12 5G smartphone. Let’s take a look at the Infinix Note 12 5G specifications, features and other details known so far.
Infinix Note 12 5G will be the first smartphone from the company to launch with 5G network support. It will launch soon in India. The company has not yet revealed the launch date. However, a couple of key features of Note 12 5G have been confirmed. The first Note 12 series 5G smartphone from Infinix will come with an AMOLED display. It is unknown if the device will have support for a high refresh rate panel.
In addition to this, the company has confirmed that the Note 12 5G will feature a 108MP main camera. A teaser on Flipkart reveals that the phone has a triple-camera setup. The device is likely to feature an ultrawide camera and a depth sensor. The LED flash module is also placed inside the camera module.
The microsite further reveals that the phone has fairly thin bezels around the display. It will have a USB Type-C port, microphone and the primary speaker grille at the bottom edge. The phone should feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, which could be placed at the top edge.
The Note 12 5G will launch in a dark blue colour option. Infinix is likely to launch the phone in multiple colour options. The processor details of the phone remain unknown at the moment.
